Rietveld Reproductie in Roze

The Red and Blue Chair is the most iconic and worldwide known chair designed by Gerrit Rietveld, in 1917. Originally painted completely in black and from the '20s onwards it was supplemented with its distinct red and blue color, including some yellow details.

Out of sheer interest and enthusiasm, Chantal decided to recreate the chair in an as contrasting colour as possible: a subtle, blushy pink version. Roze is the Dutch word for pink hence the titel: Rietveld Reproductie (reproduction) in Roze.
