Fringe cushions

The Fringe collection consists of a series of high-quality cushions and throws inspired by a mattress fabric Roos designed for Hotel the Exchange in Amsterdam. She found the glue pattern on the inside of the mattress really beautiful and used it as inspiration. She drew, scanned, painted and printed, repeating this process over and over until the pattern looked exactly how she wanted it. The collection is produced in an environmentally friendly way in collaboration with the Textiellab in Tilburg, a unique and leading textile development center in the Netherlands.

Roos is a Dutch textile designer who works from her studio in Oudemolen, an oasis of peace with lots of greenery. She loves nature and its unusual shapes and colours. Each design is a result of a personal journey, a discovery in form, colour, technique and material. Her love for textiles goes deep; the warmth and the protection provided by textiels is in line with the world Roos wants to create.
